NEWS:
The Branch County Community Chorus is seeking new membership. Any singer willing to commit to a weekly rehearsal schedule is welcome to join. The choir rehearses on Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 284 W. State St. No prior formal musical training is required for membership. Those planning to join are just asked to have the ability to sing and hold pitch independently, basic note reading skills and be willing to have loads of fun with a talented group of fun loving individuals. There is a minimum membership fee of $50. For those who cannot afford the membership fee but desire to sing, a special scholarship is available which will waive the $50 fee for the first semester. Branch County Community Chorus Guiding Principles
Inspire, Motivate and Celebrate musical fellowship throughout all of Branch County
BCCC is a member organization of the Vocal/Choral Division of Kellogg Community College.
The choir consists of 22+ singers of all abilities, from the beginner to the professional. They are all united in their love of singing.
Rehearsal location: Church of Jesus Christ: 284 W. State Street, Coldwater, MI
Rehearsal Time: 6:30 - 9:00 p.m. every Tuesday (Sept. thru May)

HOW DO I JOIN?
There is no "formal" audition, however we do ask that you come to the first rehearsal with an open mind. We also ask that you call (269) 965-3931 ext. 2566 to schedule a vocal assessment with our director, Gerald Blanchard.
In order to be considered for membership with the choir, you must do the following:
1) Be accepted by the director for membership.
2) Register for membership through Kellogg Community College. If you are in Coldwater area, please contact the Grahl Center of KCC for registration information: (517) 278-3300
3) Be able to read music at a basic level.
4) Be able to sing in tune and hold pitch independently.
5) Most importantly: Have a love for choral music.
No prior professional experience or formal musical training is necessary.
